It was good to have details in order to know what to expect when I was fixing my particular version of the problem. I had tried to jury-rig a solution, but it failed without complaint. When I returned to make the suggested fix, it looked deceptively even better than the last non-functioning solution. Thanks to your blog, I could tell just by looking that it would require further changes. Knowing the path of the authentication procedure was helpful, too.
